1080°
COSMIC HARMONIC COMPASS
Time is Geometry in Motion.
ABOUT THE RESEARCH
This research began with an exploration of geometry, number, proportion and recurring mathematical patterns, including the Fibonacci sequence, Platonic solids and geometric forms found in art and architecture.
Through years of observation and exploration, these subjects gradually converged into what is now the 1080° Cosmic Harmonic Compass (1080° CHC) — a visual framework exploring relationships between geometry, time, direction, proportion, and harmonic structure.
The aim is to develop practical approaches that encourage observation, discussion, and further exploration by providing an accessible visual language for learning.
Rather than presenting conclusions, the work invites people to explore patterns, ask questions, and discover connections for themselves.
The Framework
DISCOVER THE HARMONIC FRAMEWORK
Explore the relationships between geometry, direction and time through a visual language for observation and learning.
THE FOUNDATION
A 15 × 15 grid creates 225 cells, surrounded by a continuous 60-step perimeter and an inscribed circle. This forms the geometric foundation of the 1080° CHC.
THE COMPASS
0° begins at East and angles are measured counterclockwise.
Twenty-four equal divisions of 45° complete the 1080° harmonic cycle.
HARMONIC TIME
The same geometry measures time. Each point represents 3 hours (180 minutes). Eight equal intervals complete the 24-hour cycle (1,440 minutes), expressing time as geometry.
Research Hub
EXPLORE. DISCOVER. UNDERSTAND.
The Research Hub is a growing library of insights, diagrams and discoveries exploring the 1080° CHC framework and its connection to geometry, direction and time.
